2″ SIMPLEX PVC COVER ASSY FPM | BSX1211ASSY

The Hayward 2″ Simplex PVC Cover Assembly (BSX1211ASSY) is part of Hayward’s SB Series basket strainers. It is designed to work with 1.5″ to 2″ basket strainers and is made from durable PVC material, making it suitable for filtering debris from water.

The Hayward 2″ Simplex PVC Cover Assembly (BSX1211ASSY) is part of a larger basket strainer system.

• Sealing and Protection: This cover assembly is installed on the strainer housing. Its role is to seal the strainer chamber securely to prevent leaks.           
• The FPM (Fluoroelastomer) O-ring inside the assembly ensures a tight, chemical-resistant seal, preventing debris or unfiltered water from bypassing the filtration system.                                                               
• Filtration Support: When liquid (such as water or another fluid) passes through the system, the strainer basket inside the housing traps solid debris (like leaves, dirt, or particles) while allowing the filtered liquid to pass through. The cover helps maintain pressure in the system and keeps the strainer basket in place during operation                                                                                             
• Corrosion Resistance: Made from PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), the cover is highly resistant to corrosion,  for use in systems that handle corrosive liquids or environments with harsh chemicals, such as pool systems or industrial water filtration
