The Pentair EC-520556 – Intellichlor Power Center is the energy converter for the Itellichlor Salt Chlorine Generators that require a specific type power source for the electrolytic cell in order for it to produce chlorine in pools. This chlorinator Power Center will convert a common household AC electrical current into a low voltage DC current. That power conversion needs to happen in order for the electrolytic cell to operate and create chlorine from the salt content in the water.
- Energy source for the Pentair Intellichlor Salt Chlorine Generator
- Requires an AC electrical current
- 110 VAC and 220 VAC wiring
- 35 VDC output to the cell controller
- 10 AMP fuse
- Electrolytic cell only operates when the pool pump is on
- Can be connected to an IntelliTouch system for automation control
