Pentair Kreepy Krauly Legend II Venturi Jets (LXU8)

 

The venturi jets are replacement parts that are made by Pentair. They used the same high-grade materials that were used to make the original factory parts. Making them genuine OEM products.

These venturi jets are the most important feature of this cleaner being the main cleaning force below the Kreepy Krauly Legend II pressure side cleaner. These parts use the high-pressure water that comes from the booster pump and return line which then disperses it through these jets that are above the center opening. This creates a water vortex that sucks up dirt, debris, and other forms of mulch off the surface of your pool and into the mesh bag above the cleaner. this way it can then be removed from your pool and disposed of.

These parts are white and can be found on the bottom side of the Legend II where the bottom cover and main frame meet. Or again above the large mouth opening on the bottom of the cleaner, this makes it easy to locate and remove or replace if needed.

One great troubleshooting tip if the cleaner is not moving or operating the way it did when it was new, could be due to the Venturi jets being clogged. You can take a fine object like a paper clip or pin and simply inject it into the jets, moving it around in a circular motion and then running water through them via a garden hose or the hose from a kitchen sink. This clears out any build-up of deposits which should return the power to the cleaner allowing it to operate properly.
