This cylinder was designed for the mechanism which is essentially the engine or motor that a car would have that helps give the cleaner the power and operating capabilities to clean your pool. The cylinder itself is the item that covers and protects the piston assembly as it pumps up and down providing the power necessary to clean as well as move around the top surface of the water.

This part is black with a large mouth opening on its bottom side that allows the piston assembly to fit snugly without being too tight to where it cannot move up and down. It also is made from a strong durable material that can handle this movement and force created by the amount of water pressure it takes on.
