The Pool Breeze Total Alkalinity Increaser is a quick dissolving balancer that is designed to fight corrosion and the build up of scale on your pool equipment and surfaces, all while leaving your water sparkling and clear. Compounds in the granule product act as a buffer, or an agent, that will prevent a drastic shift in the pH when other acidic or basic chemicals are added to the pool water. To maintain the balance in the Total Alkalinity levels of your pool’s water, the levels need to be between 100-120 ppm.
