This diaphragm is shaped like a tube or a pipe and is tan in color. It is made from a high-grade rubber produced by Zodiac and is meant to move and expand to the pressure of the water. This would normally cause a plastic piece to explode or break, which would then cause damage to the cleaner thus making it inoperable.
